A fun look at applied mathematics to inspire students to study STEM fields -- everything from creating and cracking codes to trips around Washington DC, including the National Monuments, NASA, the NSA Cryptologic Museum, and the Air and Space Museum (see the 2019 tentative schedule here) .
Students will get to experience campus life by living for one week at The Catholic University of America in our nation's Capitol!
Spend your summer alongside the next generation of innovators at Duke University's Accelerated STEM Academy and engage with some of the world's top researchers. During this one-week program, you will explore Duke's state-of-the-art laboratories, learn about trailblazing research, and experience the life of an élite researcher. Students currently in grades 9 - 12 are eligible to apply to this prestigious program. Enroll in this program and take what may be a powerful first step in a lifelong pursuit of innovation.

The YES! program will provide young Texans with meaningful insight into the workings of policymaking and the art of civic engagement. Students will leave with new skills to be applied in their own communities — on campus, online, and in the field when serving others.
Application open February 7 - 28, 2019.

Student commitment due by March 13, 2019.
Who Can Apply?
The program is open to all rising high school seniors (Class of 2020).
Students must attend a high school that has a Local PTA/PTSA, and the student must be a current member of that same PTSA.
Up to 30 students will be selected in the first year.
Texas PTA is subsidizing 75% of all program costs including housing and meals.
A $75 deposit is due on March 13, 2019. The remaining $175 balance is due by April 15, 2019.
Student Arrival and Dismissal
Student drop-off is on Sunday, June 2 in the early afternoon*.
Student pick-up is on Tuesday, June 4 after 2:00 pm*.
